NEW CERTIFICATE IV IN ON-SITE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (30657QLD)

We provide Australia’s first and only Certificate IV in On-Site Environmental Management, ideal for mining and construction.

This nationally accredited course is ideal for site managers, health and safety officers, environmental officers, team leaders and operations managers as well as key plant and technical staff. It complements the OHS qualifications for OHS&E managers.

The course involves 5 days, 8am to 5pm, of attended lectures and practical work, followed by the completion of a major assignment.

It includes topics like Environmental Management, Environmental Legislation and Standards, Ecology, Pollution, Land Contamination, Waste Management, Interaction with Community and Neighbours, Site Environmental Management Plan, Environmental Assessment and Auditing, Environmental Emergency Planning and Routine Site Environmental Planning.

Special emphasis is given to current environmental legislation and standards, implementation of environmental management systems and practical day to day measures that help ensure environmental compliance in your mining or construction operation.

The course fills a critical gap in training because it provides the definitive qualifications for Site Environmental Officers and helps them gain and retain compliance in environmental issues.

It also helps develop a better understanding of the role of a Site Environmental Officer, the management of emissions, legislation, how to develop an Environmental Plan and what needs to be included as well as practical concepts and procedures of day-to-day site environmental management.

This is our basic course and one of our most popular. The level and depth of this course is ideal for the general mining and construction employee. It provides the necessary environmental training to address your due diligence requirements. It’s ideal for all personnel who are required to use spill response kits and equipment.

NATIONALLY RECOGNISED SPILL RESPONSE TRAINING (PMASUP120A) FOLLOW ENVIRONMENTAL WORK PRACTICES

If you require nationally accredited training for spill response incidents in mining and construction, this course is ideal. It reinforces company policy of issues like PPE requirements, report and reorder procedures and legislation and prevention guidelines.

This course provides simulated spill events where the participants are required to put in place the plans and procedures.
