TYRI Alliance - Halogen and High Intensity Discharge Gas Lights

The TYRI Alliance is a leading manufacturer and supplier of halogen High Intensity Discharge (HID) and LED work lights which are used in heavy duty, off-road applications. Lights have been developed to endure the harsh environments and rugged conditions of industries such as mining, forestry and construction.

HALOGEN WORK LIGHTS

Halogen lights have been the key to off-road industry lighting for over 50 years. Halogen lighting technology is still the most popular lighting technology used for heavy-duty off-road applications today. However, due to a demand for increased light output and longer bulb life, halogen, work lights in recent years have been replaced by HID lights. TYRI has the products, skills and experience to exceed the lighting requirements of the mining industry.

HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE LIGHTS

HID (also known as Xenon) work lights have become an increasingly popular choice of lighting for the mining industry, as they have the ability to produce ten times the amount of light over halogen lights, and also have a lifetime of between four and six times that of halogen.

1010 LED LIGHTS

The TYRI model 1010 LED light has been developed to meet the demanding operating requirements of the mining industry. The 1010 LED has endured rigorous environmental, electronic and vibration/shock testing. LED lights are preferred as lifetime lighting due to their long burn life and robust nature. LED work lights have the capacity to provide increased light output at a lower power consumption than conventional lighting sources.

• Mounting position options (hanging, standing, side, flush and snap-in)
• Lens options (including asymmetric, symmetric, high beam and low beam)
• A wide range of halogen bulb options

Housing options include a standard nylon version which is undampened. For more severe applications, a shock and vibration dampened housing is optional. Mounting brackets for both dampened and undampened housings are available in three heights: 25, 30, or 40mm. Dampened housings are recommended for off-road applications where lamps will be subjected to significant vibration and shock. Three machine mounting bolts are available: M8, M10, or M12. TYRI has the support staff to assist customers with their specific application requirements.

LIGHT FAMILIES

TYRI lights are developed in series, or ‘families’. This means that lights within a similar series have the consistency of a key design look, enabling the maintenance of a recognized design and look in spite of differing lighting packages installed on each machine.
