FLAME-PROOF MOTORS FOR COAL MINES

Our general-purpose flame-proof motors are designed for operation in mines endangered by the explosion of the methane and coal dust in the spaces (zones one and two) where explosive mixtures of combustible gases and steams of liquid with air can occur. Features include:

• Frame size: 90 – 315 EECS/BASEEFA certified
• Output range: 0.25kW - 200kW
• Voltage: up to 1,100V
• Marking: I M2 ExdI - II 2G Exd IIC T5 or I M2 ExdI - II 2G Exd IIB T5
• EFF1 class from 200 to 315 frame size

WP PREMIUM EFFICIENCY MOTORS

The TAMEL WP motor covers products with a broad range of outputs. They are suitable for use within a diverse range of applications, from food and drink to china clay production and from roller table drives to refrigeration. Features include:

• Output range: 0,75kW – 400kW
• Cast iron construction
• European - EFF1 standard

SMOKE EXTRACTION MOTORS

Fumex smoke extraction motors are capable of withstanding the heat of smoke and fumes produced by a fire for a number of specified temperature time combinations, for example 400°C for 120min. Designed specifically as fan drives for normal ventilation and heat and smoke removal duty, features include:

• Frame size: 80 – 355
• Output range: 0.25kW - 400kW
• Temperature classification: 150°C - 400°C
• Standard: EN 12101, CTICM approved

INTEGRATED VARIABLE SPEED MOTOR (VSM)

The VSMs perfectly matched motor and inverter have been designed to improve the performance of machinery and mechanical handling systems as well as increase the efficiency and reduce the cost of fan and pump systems. Features include:

• Powers up to 7.5kW
• 80 - 132 frame
• Constant and variable torque
• Inverter produced by Danfoss
• VLT type inverter
• RFI filter for EMC directive EN 55011 1A+B
• PROFIBUS DP as built-in option
• PC dialog software for setting and monitoring

EEXE: INCREASED SAFETY MOTORS

These motors are designed to ensure safety by means of a number of special features to ensure freedom from arcs, sparks or dangerous surface temperatures. They are not flameproof and not built to withstand an internal explosion. EEXE motors are suitable to use in ZONE 1 and ZONE 2. Features include:

• Frame size: 80 – 355
• Output range: 0.37kW - 260kW
• Voltage: up to 690V
• Marking: II 2G EEx e II T3.

EEX NA: NON-SPARKING DUST IGNITION-PROOF MOTORS

The construction of EEx nA and DIP motors is similar to standard TEFV motors, but with special attention to eliminate production of arcs, sparks or dangerous surface temperatures. All motors comply with the requirements of the ATEX directives. The motors are certified by a European notified body which also grants the license to manufacture. Features include:

• Frame size: 80 - 355 cast iron, 71-180 aluminum frame
• Output range: 0.37kW - 400kW
• Marking: II 3G EEx nA II T3 or II 2D T125°C
