Since its establishment in 1921, EMIT has been the leading manufacturer of electric motors on Polish and foreign markets. We produce equipment for the application of electric drives for companies around the world, including, Germany, Austria, England, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Azerbaijan, USA, Canada, Syria, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.

Due to our long standing experience, goods marked with the EMIT brand name are installed by the majority of Polish industrial companies and in Polish power plants, in addition to our global client base.

WATER-COOLED AND AIR-COOLED EXPLOSION PROOF MOTORS

Our basic production programme consists of over 2,500 types of electric machines. It covers a wide range of explosion-proof motors including special motors for the mining industry in the form of both water-cooled motors and air-cooled motors.

The basic division for our induction motors (both slip-ring and squirrel-cage), rated output from 90kW to 3,400kW is 10kV to 11kV for high voltage motors, with an output ranging from 200kW to 1,400kW. Medium voltage motors (from 3kV to 6kV) have an output ranging from 160kW to 3,400kW.

Low voltage motors (of up to 1000V) have an output range of between 160kW and 2,250kW, and low and high voltage slip-ring motors have an output ranging from 90kW to 1,250kW.

The area of explosion proof motors for the mining industry is divided into two groups: motors for driving combined cutter-loaders and for driving conveyors.

MOTORS FOR COMBINED CUTTER-LOADERS

All dSKgwp series motors are explosion-proof motors with water-cooling. All EMIT motors are certified for compliance with ATEX directive and GOST standard.

All motors include "d" type flame-proof cover ( I M2 EExd I) and water cooling. They are equipped with safety shafts and de-clutching devices (selected types).

We have also delivered many drives for pumps of mine main de-watering units, fans and underground air conditioning.

Our products come with a one to two year guarantee, and we offer delivery of non-typical goods, which are not included in our catalogues. These products are tailored to meet the requirements of our client (i.e. motors for submersible pumps).
