Elektrometal S.A. has been active in Cieszyn since 1948. As a result of many years specialization the company has developed in the area of mining and gas industry, Elektrometal has got a strong, leading position on the Polish market.

Elektrometal is active in the production of explosion-proof, special and standard lighting equipment for mining; intrinsically safe automation systems and loudspeaker systems for the mining industry; mining safety equipment, cable box sets.

We have over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing specialist devices designed for work under difficult and dangerous circumstances and unfavorable environments.

AUTOMATION SYSTEM ELSAP-05

The automation ELSAP-05 system is an all-purpose, freely configured, programmable and intrinsically safe (ib, category M2) programmer. It is designed for the operation in hazardous explosive areas. This system may communicate with PC located on the surface to automate haulage ways (conveyors) from the dispatcher's room.

MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL DEVICE MUS-04

The MUS-04 microprocessor control device is a fully programmable unit that makes it possible to control selected devices or technological processes. The device contains a battery that enables its working while the power supply is switched off. It is an intrinsically safe unit and can be used in rooms at any methane concentration level (when an intrinsically power supply is switched off, MUS-04 is M1 category and its input and output circuits are intrinsically safe 'ia').

UGS-01/2 INTRINSICALLY SAFE LOUDPEAKER SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATION, SIGNALLING AND BLOCKING

Our intrinsically safe loudspeaker system for communication, signaling and blocking, UGS-01/2, is designed to be used in mining plants, in production longwalls, along routs of narrow-gauge railway works on transportation ways, on haulage ways and in other places requiring communication in loudspeaking mode. The system is intrinsically safe 'ib' (category M2) when powered from the power supply and 'ia' (category M1) when powered from the manual battery.

MINING LIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Lamps for permanent lighting of excavations include the Luminaire OLR-1 and Luminaire OLR-2. We also supply fluorescent lamps NLS-3, NLS-4, NLS-4e, NLS-6 and NLS-6e.

OLR-2 Luminaire is designed for use in areas and rooms in mining plants which are in danger of explosion, according to the characteristics described in the explosion-proof marking is EEx I/II C. The luminaire is especially designed to illuminate underground mining stocks of fuels and greases.

MINING CAP LAMPS

Our mining cap lamps are designed for individual illumination of the working place. They can be used in rooms classified as a, b, c class of methane explosion hazard according to IEC 62013 part 1, 2 standards.

GAS REGULATORS

The other branch of Elektrometal's activity is the production of natural gas pressure reducing valves (gas regulators) for medium pressures and meter-reducing points for house connections. We are the biggest producer and distributor of such gas regulators in Poland.

Elektrometal is the owner of Georyt Centrum Produkcyjne Sp. Z.o.o, a manufacturer of hydraulic control system and components used in the mining industry.
