Drivdon - Xenon / HID-based Lamps and Lights

Drivdon AB has been developing and manufacturing high-quality xenon / HID-based illumination products since 1991. The unique modular design of our patented MegaLight™ range of products allows a high degree of flexibility in production and guarantees delivery of specific models at very short notice.

GAS DISCHARGE LAMPS (HID)

The light source in all our MegaLight products is gas discharge lamps (HID). The light is generated by continuous arcing between the two electrodes inside the gas filled lamp. The gas utilised is xenon.

This type of light is five times more energy efficient than conventional H1 halogen type bulbs, and its lifetime is seven times longer. Other benefits are uniform light distribution, low level of radiated heat and crisp white colour tone.

MegaLight is designed to provide the highest reliability and longest lifespan. This is combined with flexibility to reduce operator fatigue and maintain low maintenance costs.

SHOCK-RESISTANT WORK LIGHTS

MegaLight is the result of comprehensive efforts to develop the best working light on the market. The source of light is a 35W gas discharge lamp. It is small in size, shock-resistant and extremely durable. This, together with its toughened glass filter, ensures low running costs.

The light source and reflector in combination with a unique electronic unit gives intensity over five times higher than that of conventional H1 halogen type bulbs.

MegaLight generates very little heat. The risk of burns is thus extremely small, as is the risk of causing a fire.

ADAPTABLE INDUSTRIAL HID LAMPS

With their high intensity and extreme long range, MegaLight products are the perfect choice for a wide variety of locations, including:

  • The mining industry
  • Trucks
  • Tractors
  • Excavators
  • Lorries
  • Wheel loaders
  • Forest harvesters
  • Farms
  • Cranes
  • Off-shore
  • Emergency corps
  • Rally cars

HIGH-LUMINOSITY HID BULBS

With MegaLight you can turn night into day thanks to the huge luminosity which HID bulbs offer. MegaLight increases productivity and safety by improving visibility, through a reduction in eye strain and fatigue.

RUGGED ARMATURES FOR WORK AND DRIVING

Mega-Light offers one of the most rugged armatures in the market. It meets even the most stringent requirements on shock and vibration, making it a suitable choice wherever excellent work and driving light is required.

EXCELLENT BRIGHTNESS WITH LOW POWER CONSUMPTION

Drivdon manufactures a wide range of MegaLight products for work lighting, auxiliary lighting, surveillance and security, both on land and off-shore.

MegaLight offers products with excellent brightness and light distribution, yet combined with low power consumption. Their high reliability ensures a reduction in necessary maintenance.
