The electric motor with power of 200/400 kW for conveyers awarded again

Based on long-term experience in manufacturing of two-speed motors with power rating 45/132kW, 65/200kW, 85/250kW and 105/315kW, as well as with rpm ratio of 1/3 (500/1,500rpm), Damel plc. developed in 2005 a new solution for mining industry.
The motor SG3 450L-8/4 with power of 200/400kW and rotation speed 750/1,500rpm is dedicated to drive machinery and mining equipment, in particular belt conveyors and push-plate drag conveyors. Therefore, a new family of two-speed motors with rpm ratio of 1/2 has been launched.
More than two years of operation experience, unsurpassed durability under the most heavy duty conditions, numerous references from the most demanding world markets, such as Chinese, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian, have led the boards of leading contests supervised by the Ministry of Economy to award the motor numerous titles.
The very prestigious names granted have been the Europroduct and the Best European Brand.
Nowadays, the family of two-speed motors with the rpm ratio of 1/2 has been enriched by motors with power of 260/520kW in the series for both the voltages of 1,000/1,140 V and 3,300V.
