Damel - Explosion-Proof Electric Motors

Damel S.A. is a private company, established in 1940, and Poland's largest manufacturer of electric motors for the mining industry. Our product range features air-cooled electric motors with electromagnetic brakes, water-cooled electric motors, motors with integrated frequency converters, electromagnetic separators and insulators.

All products in our offer are designed and developed by our own design office. All our products are certified for compliance with the requirements of the ATEX directive and they also have other certificates of foreign attestation institutions.

WATER-COOLED ELECTRIC MOTORS

Water-cooled electric motors:

• 2kW -1,000kW: up to 500V - 6,000V

For breaker row of longwall combined cutter loaders:

• 250kW - 1,000kW: up to 3,300V or 6,000V
• 100kW - 400kW: up to 1,140V

For breaker row of heading combined cutter loaders:

• 100kW - 250kW: up to 1,140V

For belt conveyors and scraper conveyors (single-pole):

• 200kW - 860kW: 3,300V or 6,000V
• 100kW - 860kW: up to 1,140V

For belt conveyors and scraper conveyors (multi-pole):

• 100kW / 200kW, 200kW / 400kW: 3,300V or 6,000V
• 45kW / 132kW, 200kW / 400kW: up to 1,140V

Electric motors manufactured by Damel are sold mostly to undertakings in the coal mining sector - mining companies, hard and brown coal mining plants, as well as manufacturers of mining machinery and equipment. Electric motors from the wide and diversified offer of Damel operate in all coal mines in Poland, as well as in numerous foreign companies.

Damel S.A. products have been exported directly to Austria, China, Columbia, Czech Republic, India, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Spain, South Africa, Ukraine. Machinery manufacturers apply our motors in their combined cutter loaders, conveyors, drawing machines, and many other machines designed for mining, chemical, cement, machinery, processing and other industries.
