Diarotech - Finished and Semi Finished Mining Products

Diarotech manufacture finished and semi-finished products by the metallurgy of powders, comprising noble abrasives such as natural and synthetic industrial diamond and carbide and boron nitride. This process is implemented using local historical expertise.

SINTERING SERVICE

Optimal compactness is carried out by sintering in a hot isostatic press; this applies to parts of any size and shape. This technique requires, in the majority of cases, an encapsulation of the parts to be sintered.

We utilise high purity gas, such as hydrogen, nitrogen and argon. A large variety of matrices allow the manufacture of the majority of standard segments. Additionally, our large variety of automatic and semi-automatic presses ranging from 1t to 50t, are able to carry out single layer and multilayer parts in a ‘floating’ mould.

SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

We carry out realisation on demand of diamond cutting elements for the production of tools for mining and oil drilling (implementation by brazing or mechanical hooping with adequate finishing).

This includes creation of anti-wear studs impregnated with diamond for any type of application, segments for multi-disc assemblies and realisation of parts with a gradient of composition.

FINISHED PRODUCTS

• Segments for coal cutter belt for sawing in quarries.
• Diamond pearls carried out by a technique of infiltration or in hot isostatic press according to the use, for strand cutting in quarries
• Realisation of stone-cutting strand in spring assembly or plastic injection
• Reconditioning of the stone-cutting strands of any technique
• Tools for anchoring after drilling of blind holes
• Core bits for mining exploration

RAW MATERIALS ANALYSIS

Diarotech acquired state-of-the-art laboratory material for the purpose of carrying out in-house analyses of raw materials as well as finished products.

Our philosophy is to concentrate on techniques of the latest generation, often with greater added value, and to address niche markets of minor interest for the main players of the sector, because it often concerns small and average batches to be produced. This approach makes it possible to manufacture ‘made to measure' components of any size and shape.

Flexibility is demonstrated in the variety of shapes and sizes of the products, and in the speed of reaction, but also in the variety of raw materials concerning diamond as well as metal powders: coated diamond, granulated powder, powder of any size and simple or pre-alloyed composition.
