Fractum Gmbh to Enter Ukrainian Market

Ukraine continues to be a major world producer of coal, ferroalloys, ilmenite, iron ore, manganese ore and steel. At the end of the Soviet era, Ukraine was the Soviet Union's leading iron ore producer and second-ranking steel producer (after Russia). Currently Ukraine ranks within the first half of the top ten countries in the world in terms of steel production and steel export. Furthermore, Ukraine has around 30 quarries/mining areas with a yearly production of around 800,000t – making Ukraine one of the world leaders within these two market segments.
Fractum Gmbh has been seeking dealer candidates in Ukraine, with the first dealer appointment planned for the Dnepropetrovsk area. This new dealer will offer complete services, including Fractum breaker sales, complete service and spare parts support, as well as sub-contracting services to all new customers within the quarry and mining as well as steel mill applications for the whole of Ukraine.
Fractum GmbH is the world leader in breaking as well as the innovator of the biggest, most powerful hammer in the world. The Fractum breaker is capable of delivering up to 400,000 joule per stroke - an energy level that is 15 to 30 times more potent than that of the biggest hydraulic hammer.
The Fractum Breaker is used in secondary rock breaking for use in intensive mining and quarrying applications, as well as for recycling slag, iron and steel waste in steel works. The Fractum Breaker can be used in conjunction with existing machines and can perform all secondary breakage generating significant savings to the daily operations in the different sectors of use.
