Keynote speaker, P Michael Saint will discuss the use of digital media in public affairs. He will demonstrate how digital tools, such as video petitions and telephone town halls, can be used to gain public support in land use conflicts and build good community relations.

Michael Saint is founder, CEO and chairman of The Saint Consulting Group. He is co-author of the book, NIMBY Wars – The Politics of Land Use, published in 2009.

He also penned the forward on ‘So What? Measuring and Assessing Strategic Communication in Land Use Politics’, written by Owen Eagan, published in 2013. The Saint Consulting Group has worked on more than 2,000 land use projects in 48 states.

In addition, the conference will feature presentations by experts in the blasting and vibration fields.
