QUALITY CONTROL OF X, WITH X BEING ALL QUALITY RELATED ISSUES (QCX)Automatic solutions for sampling, sample preparation and analysis in connection with mining and processing of iron ore, copper, zinc, precious metals, heavy minerals or other relevant material. The sampling equipment and the control of same fulfil the relevant sampling standards for the given material, but can of course be configured to meet customer specific requirements. The same can be said about the sample preparation and analysis solutions. They may cover one or more of the following operations: drying, crushing, coarse grinding, splitting, fine grinding, pressing of powder tablets for XRF and XRD, fusion, dosing and weighing, screening, fire assay preparation etc. Identification of samples by barcode, RFID tags or similar may also be incorporated. As well as export of data to LIMS, the relevant process control system or any other third party software. The optimal solution will be found in connection with the customer and the requirements for issues like pay-back time, quality level, reliability etc. ADAPTABLE CONTROL ENGINEERING (ACE)Based on over 1,000 installations worldwide, ACE defines the control objects, data, and program structures needed to implement efficient PLC-based process-control systems. This may be control systems for a single unit like a crusher. It may be for a complete grinding installation, for a flotation process area or for a complete new mining site with all what it takes. ADVANCED MEASURING EQUIPMENT (AME)AME is a broad range of measuring, imaging, and gas analysis systems for process and for continuous emission monitoring. All these types of equipment are specially designed to withstand the often harsh environment present. Moreover they are designed for the highest degree of reliability and with easy maintenance in mind. EXPERT CONTROL AND SUPERVISION (ECS)The ECS control-system platform combines a wide range of supervisory and managerial solutions for total plant control. An example is high-level control of sag and ball mill. ECS is hardware (PLC) independent and integrates all applications into a single homogeneous platform. The most advanced algorithms for modelling the process are used. User friendliness and high return on investment as the most important parameters are also incorporated. POWER AND CONTROL INTEGRATION (PCI)PCI ensures integration of all electrical equipment, the process, and the machinery without any loose ends and with electrical equipment configuration suitable for the process environment and the required functions.
