AMR announces an unmatched addition to its MC-4000 Mine Monitoring System, the Data Acquisition Display or DAD. The DAD greatly expands maintenance personnel’s ability to monitor and troubleshoot the entire MC-4000 system while inside the mine. The DAD also virtually eliminates time spent communicating with personnel outside the mine at the MC-4000 Master Station.
Capabilities
In Listen Mode, DAD views real-time:
- Remotes/sensors'
- Alarms and locations
- Comm and enable/disable status
- Digital, analog and control channels
Comm line status for:
- Voltage levels
- Errors
- Bias and termination
In Poll Mode DAD:
- Acts as the Master Station to poll remotes/sensors
- Selectively polls system branches to isolate problems
- Views same status as in Listen Mode
