MC-4000 MINE MONITORING SYSTEM

AMR's MSHA-approved MC-4000 mine monitoring system is simply the most flexible offering on the market today. Choose your high-speed communications line in the form of AMR's WinMac protocol over rugged twisted-pair shielded cable, or Modbus® over Ethernet/fiber.

Individual sensors and remote I/O devices constantly and quickly feed data to the Windows®-based master station allowing the operator to pinpoint trouble areas, trend machinery for maintenance, and control devices remotely. Interface the WinMac OPC Server with popular graphics packages such as Wonderware® , RSView® or drive a Modbus® system direct with these packages.

AMR offers a complete line of field proven environmental sensors capable of monitoring a multitude of different gases including CO, O2 and methane. Remote stations and sensors monitor such belt functions as slip, plugged chute, sequence, and remote switch as well as control belts and pumps. Troubleshooting and software updates are also made easy. Remotely use dial-in modems or within the mine use AMR's new portable Data Acquisition Display or (DAD).

MINE NET™ TAGGING, TRACKING, COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

Easily integrated into the MC-4000 or used as a stand-alone system, the Mine Net™ tracking, tagging and communications system allows mine operators to continuously track the movement of miners and equipment and to receive messages from underground. Smart readers with up to four addressable antennas are placed as needed throughout the mine and communicate through twisted-pair copper or fiber to the surface.

The Mine Net™ tag is intrinsically safe, small, light-weight, ultra-durable, and can be easily mounted almost anywhere. The tag provides miner ID#, location, direction, relative distance, battery level, and up to eight-coded messages to the surface.

The latest addition to the Mine Net™ system, the Mine Net™ messenger also communicates through smart readers and provides two-way communication through text messaging. Users at the surface and underground can easily send, receive, and save messages to this handheld RF device. The messenger can still do even more, acting as an identification tag and retransmitting signal from reader to reader.

Safety procedures, operational checklists, contact information and mine directions can all be saved in the messenger and updated as needed. This device will meet and surpass the Miner Act's 2009 requirements.

GROUND CHECK MONITORS

ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Traditional molded case breakers offer no competition to AMR's CB Series in providing safety and reduced costs. Utilizing appropriately-sized vacuum contactors and fuses, the CB Series offer a wide range of operating currents and voltages. Control units provide easy troubleshooting by indicating all types of faults e.g. overcurrent, ground fault, under-voltage, unit fault, fuse/contact failure, phase loss, ground monitor trip, etc.

Magnetic and thermal trip values can also easily be set to prevent nuisance tripping. The CB-PRO still offers more: remote lockout by any DCS or PLC, saved fault histories, and power monitoring/metering. Better protect your employees, equipment and reduce downtime with the CB Series.
