GEOTAB CHECKMATE REPORTING SOFTWARE

Geotab Checkmate software is a simple to use, Windows-based management tool that combines black box and mobile tracking data onto a central database on your network.

Geotab software has been designed to cater to small business fleets on a single desktop PC through to large enterprise, multi-user environments.

GEOTAB UNIT

The Geotab unit is installed within the vehicle's dashboard and out of sight. It is 12V/24V compatible eliminating the need for a voltage converter in 24V operating trucks. The unit is in constant communication with the satellites (via the GPS antenna) and records the following info: position, time, speed, idling, ignition tamper and auxiliary inputs.

THE GPS SATELLITE ANTENNA

The GPS (Global Positioning System)/satellite antenna receives the signal from the satellites (24 satellites) and passes this information to the Geotab unit. The GPS/satellite antenna has been designed for internal installation i.e. the GPS/satellite antenna is mounted on the inside of the windscreen.

TOUCH-KEY AND TOUCH-KEY HOUSING

The touch-key housing is connected to the harness and is mounted on the dashboard near the driver's seat. It acts as the communication interface between the Geotab unit and the touch keys.

GEOTAB GO - KEYED DATA TRANSFER OPTION

This is the most cost effective means of monitoring your organisation's fleet.

The initial hardware costs are the least expensive, and as the data from the Geotab GO vehicle unit is transferred manually, there are no on-going network fees.

GEOTAB GO - RADIO (RF) DATA TRANSFER OPTION

Our mid-tiered offering that removes the reliance on the driver or anyone else from manually downloading the vehicle's data to the Checkmate software.

GEOTAB GO - GSM / GPRS DATA TRANSFER OPTION

This system's hardware costs are comparable to the RF data transfer option, however unlike the two previous systems, the GSM/GPRS solution does incur ongoing monthly network fees for the live application of this system.
