Higher efficiency coding
The new HX System introduces two key features that bring even greater efficiency and lower costs to operators. On the forward
channel, implementation of Generic Stream Encapsulation (GSE) delivers up to 14% efficiency improvement. On the return channel, Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) coding, combined with Hughes adaptive coding, enables up to 33% efficiency improvement overTurbo Codes.
