ITC Global has been providing real-time communications to GRD Minproc Limited in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) since July 2007. GRD Minproc is a leading independent engineering construction business providing high-value services and specializing in the design, procurement and construction of mineral resource and waste-to-resources projects. GRD required reliable communications to support real-time access to its corporate and engineering applications on servers located in Perth, Australia.

ITC Global, using its innovative technology platform and on-the-ground technicians, was able to proactively deliver a solution that not only exceeded performance expectations, but also was on time and within the pre-determined budget. The tightly controlled latency of the ITC platform means staff in the DRC, using Citrix Metaframe technology, can access the full range of corporate applications.

Chris Hill, Managing Director of ITC Global Australia, notes: "GRD staff were especially appreciative of ITC Global's expertise and its ability to effectively handle logistics in an environment that many companies find challenging. Being able to provide on-the-ground technical and logistical support to the project, as well as a deep understanding of operational, technical and engineering requirements, allows for consistent, successful delivery of solutions and really sets ITC Global apart from its competitors."

GRD enjoys having direct access to its corporate network at new project sites anywhere on the globe and is a glowing reference for ITC Global in the DRC.
