Australian Radio Towers (ART) is one of the leading mast and tower manufacture and installation companies in Australia. We have extensive experience in the radio tower and high access rigging industry throughout Australia and internationally. We provide design, manufacture, supply and installation services for a wide range of products, including guyed masts, free-standing radio towers, trailer-mounted quick deploy masts, communication systems and communication huts.

We started building radio masts and towers in 1973 and have performed over 4,000 installations, including masts from nearly every manufacturer in Australia.

Radio mast and tower services

All products and services are designed, manufactured and installed in-house by direct ART employees. We have developed an extensive range of products to suit a variety of applications and can custom design towers to suit your specific needs. Free-standing radio towers

Free-standing radio towers are typically used where large head loads need to be supported or usable ground area is limited. If we don't have a standard tower to suit your requirements, we can design, manufacture, install or work on any type of tower that you require. We can also design components or additions for existing towers.

Guyed radio masts

Guyed masts are generally the most cost-effective way of providing a suitable structure, although they have a larger footprint than a free-standing tower. A unique feature of our guyed mast range is that they can be built as traditional stackable masts or, in some cases, as tilt-up masts, meaning they can be built on the ground and then raised up without having to work at heights.

Our guyed masts come in both a traditional lattice design as well as a tubular design. The lattice design is more suitable for larger head loads, the tubular design is more suitable for small head loads. Both masts can be ordered as climbable or no-climable.

Communication systems for mining sites

ART offers design, assembly and installation services for most types of communication and environmental monitoring systems, including coverage mapping and system advice. Our technicians have experience with a wide range of modern electronic communication systems.

In addition to in-house system design and assembly, we can provide field service and installation. Our field service is for communication hut-based systems as well as mast and tower-mounted components. Our experienced communication riggers and system service technicians can install communication systems and solve on-site issues.

Communication huts

ART manufactures a range of communication huts specifically designed for the mining industry. Our air-conditioned comms huts are fully insulated and air-conditioned and come in a range of sizes and finishes. They are built on steel IBeam skids and use welded steel wall and roof frames.
