ELFOR - Safety and Fire Fighting Chemicals for the Mining Industry

"Chemical company "ELFOR" is one of the stable enterprises of Kuzbass formed in 2000 on basis of "Household chemical goods factory". Mission of our company is development, manufacture and application to production the materials for raising safety and productivity of mining works at the coal enterprises of Russia. A serial output of materials for coal dust suppression, for fire fighting in mines and other production is mastered at our plant.

DEVELOPMENT STAGES

2004/2005 – our plant together with "Gortechnadzor", East Scientific Research Institute (VostNII) and mines technical management has developed and put into batch production and applied in industry penetrating agent "ELFOR" (Note: penetrating agents were not used at mines till 2005).

2005/2006 - our plant together with "Gortechnadzor", Mining Scientific Research Institute (NII GD) and Emergency Control Ministry (ECM) has developed and put into batch production and applied in industry foam maker for fire fighting in mines "PO-6 "ELFOR".

2007 – our plant together with "Gortechnadzor", Mining Scientific Research Institute (NII GD) has applied in mine industry the bags for water and shale barrier produced by NII GD what allowed to oust the similar import products from the market.

AT PRESENT

• Works on batch production and applying in coal industry of chemical compound on fixation of coal dust in mine works and coal storages are conducted
• Development of polymeric ampoules for chemical fastening anchors and anti-frost chemistry are in the process of development

Business and confidential relations with coal enterprises of Kuzbass are formed during the period of plant stable work. The delivery system to customers’ distributive storages has been adjusted. Delays of payment can be given.
