Cytec to Adjust Pricing for Mineral Processing and Solvent Extraction Products

The increase in prices will take effect August 1, 2008.
Cytec Industries (NYSE: CYT) announced the implementation of a global price adjustment of 5% to 20% on all mining products used in mineral processing and solvent extraction, including AEROFROTH frothing agents, OREPREP frothing agents, AEROPHINE promoter, SUPERFLOC flocculants, AERODRI surfactant, AEROFLOAT flotation reagents, AERO promoter, ACORGA extraction reagents and CYANEX solvent extraction reagent products. The adjustment, effective August 1, 2008, was implemented due to the additional escalation in the costs of raw materials, energy and transportation.
