Free White Paper on Continuous Vulcanization Cured Rubber for Mining Cables

29 September 2009

Tele-Fonika Kable has released a free white paper on continuous vulcanization cured rubber for extra-heavy duty mining cables. Tele-Fonika Kable's laboratory studies and worldwide-installed product base confirms that continuous vulcanization (CV) cured mining cables offer superior performance for all mining applications.

Tele-Fonika Kable has many years of mining cable production experience in both the older, obsolete lead-cured technology and the newer CV replacement technology. The company has evolved to convert all production over to the "clean" processing for obvious environmental reasons and has successfully developed a range of products, which provide the same or better performance than its CV predecessors.

Tele-Fonika has specially formulated compounds and reinforcing materials to meet the most stringent requirements within harsh mining environments. TF mining cables, used for various miners, draglines, drillers, and shovels, are currently being utilized by some of the world’s largest mines across the globe in key regions such as North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
