Teijin Aramid will present its high performance aramid fibers Twaron® and Technora® on the Teijin Aramid booth seven in the exhibition room during the MERL Oilfield Engineering with Polymers conference in London on September 21 to 22, 2010. The Teijin Aramid products play a key role wherever strength, safety, durability and low weight are required.

Teijin Aramid’s products are applied in oil and gas application areas such as product and workover umbilicals, flexible flowlines, offloading marine hose, seismic cables, ROV cables, mooring lines and hoisting ropes. Teijin Aramid experts will be present at booth seven to share recent industry developments and to discuss how visitor’s products could benefit from the added value of its aramid fibers.

MERL Oilfield Engineering with Polymers 2010 provides an international forum for oilfield operators, contractors and their suppliers to meet and discuss the latest developments in application requirements and materials R&D.

The program covers a range of critical topics including explosive gas decompression and high performance materials for extreme temperatures. Speakers including leading operators, contractors, researchers, component and materials suppliers.
