RPM Pipe - Recycled Plastic Pipes for Mining Applications

RPM Pipe is a leader in manufacturing plastic pipe out of recycled plastic, is based in northern Victoria and services clients throughout central Victoria and southern New South Wales. We have been recycling plastics into pipes since 1998 with a reputation for a quality product and reliable service.

Our pipes are suitable for heavy-duty applications in a range of different diameters and are supplied in 6mlengths for ease of handling and transport.

Plastic pipes and water management

Our range of plastic pipe and water management products has been designed to save you water, time and money. We produce high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe made from the same plastic used in common black poly agricultural flood pipe. Our innovative process allows us to use 100% recycled HDPE that has previously been made into milk, detergent and similar bottles.

Heavy-duty pipe for low-pressure applications

RPM has always supplied heavy-duty, quality pipe for low-pressure applications, and can be used for drainage, crossovers, culverts, pump wells and flood irrigation. Our pipe comes in four sizes: 315mm, 400mm, 450mm and 630mm OD. It is also available in 6m lengths with a fully formed and machined spigot faucet system for joining lengths together. We also offer an O ring seal if needed, which will give you a water tight seal for low-pressure transfer.

Fibre glass headwalls

RPM headwalls are new to the market and are made of different material to that of other manufacturers. Our headwalls are made from fibre glass, which give you a very strong headwall at a minimal weight. Fibre glass has been proven to last a very long time in all weather conditions.

Our headwalls are quite easy to move into place by yourself with no need to hire a machine which cuts down on the price of installation. They also give you that finished touch and improve your water flow.

Pipe fabrication

RPM can fabricate any of our pipes into a number of things, including pump wells, T-pieces at any angle you want, Y-junctions, and manifolds, just to mention a few. We can also custom make one-off pieces just for your specific needs.

Bay outlets and pluggers

RPM bay pluggers are an over-centre locking flap that we have been manufacturing for 18 years. Our bay pluggers are hot dip galvanized frame and all pivoting parts are stainless steel. The disc has a rubber seal glued onto it to make our bay pluggers water tight. Bay pluggers can be easily fitted to a pre-existing pipe that you have in the ground, whether it be plastic, concrete, fibro or vit clay.

We can also offer you complete bay outlets with pipe, bay pluggers, 45o or 90 o bends and in any length that you require.

Channel stops and hull pluggers

RPM hull pluggers are specifically designed for deep-water control with the hull plugger submerged in water. The unit works by using a double disc system, with a smaller disc in the middle of the larger disc opening first, to take away some of the pressure when trying to open the larger disc. This system works well in water depth of up to 3m.

Hull pluggers are hot dipped galvanized and all pivoting bolts are stainless steel. Discs are marine grade aluminium with a rubber seal on both discs.

Float stops

Our float stops are very unique in the way they work as we use water to float the pipe to control the water. This system works very easily because there is very minimal lifting involved. The metal parts of the float stop are hot dipped galvanized and the bolts are stainless steel. There are some conditions that the float stop won't work in, so we advise that you contact us before you order.
