Norcast is dedicated to the production of steel / iron alloy mill & crusher liners and conical-shaped grinding media. Norcast has achieved unparalleled expertise in the design and production of large complex crushing mill lining systems. A new modern foundry operation was constructed in 1998. The new foundry utilizes the latest technology and information systems to ensure efficient, cost-effective and high-quality production. GRINDING MILL LINER SYSTEMS - HIGH PERFORMANCE WEAR SOLUTIONSNorcast supplies high performance wear liner for a wide range of grinding mill types, including SAG mills (up to 40ft), ball mills, rod mills, AG mills and vertical tower mills. CRUSHER LINER SYSTEMS – HIGH PERFORMANCE WEAR SOLUTIONSNorcast supplies high performance crusher liners. HIGH PERFORMANCE GRINDING APPLICATION DESIGNSNorcast works closely with end users, mill manufacturers and consultants to select the most appropriate high performance mill liner system from day one. Norcast uses leading edge mill trajectory simulations, extensive metallurgical experience and years of grinding application experience to develop long life designs. LINER SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION SERVICESNorcast provides existing operations with extensive liner system optimization programs. Regular site visits, liner wear measurement tools and liner life prediction software ensure that liner life is maximized and mill shutdowns are minimized. Additionally, Norcast can assist in evaluating the impact of new or changing ore characteristics on the liner performance, thus ensuring subsequent liner deliveries are optimized to the most current operating conditions. CONICAL ALLOY CAST IRON GRINDING MEDIAThe company manufactures a line of conical grinding media ranging in size from 15mm to 50mm base diameter. Two types of alloy cast iron grinding media have been developed with identical mechanical properties for superior abrasion resistance. Nimet and Marmet alloys are specially formulated martensitic white irons - the result of several years' metallurgical research into alloy additions and process conditions. Norcast's conical grinding media has gained wide recognition in many types of milling applications, especially where total cost per tonne milled is a major consideration. Putting Norcast grinding media to work for you can mean substantial savings on your milling costs. The reason is simple: Norcast quality, offered at a competitive price. Norcast conical media is proven to decrease total cost per tonne milled for numerous grinding applications such as concentrate regrinding, tertiary milling, secondary milling (with a bond ball Wi of 12kWh/t or less), vertical milling and dry grinding. A GLOBAL PRESENCE Founded on a basis of technical know-how, Norcast strives to deliver products that offer the best total return on investment for users. An integral partner to the mining industry, Norcast serves more than 110 mine operators around the world. The company is headquartered in Toronto and has sales offices around the world.
